South African producer and artist Muzi is set to release a new single, “Cycle”, on Friday, 28 November 2025.
Originally from Empangeni in KwaZulu-Natal, Muzi has built a distinctive sound by blending African rhythm, electronic textures and personal storytelling. “Cycle” signals the start of his next album era. It offers a quieter, more reflective look at where he has been and where he is going.
The track centres on the idea of returning to yourself. Muzi describes it as “the moments when you lose your way, and the music that brings you home again”. It is a theme that runs through much of his work, but here it takes on a more intimate tone.
“Cycle” carries his familiar mix of bold percussion, layered production and melodic vocals. The song moves between vulnerability and resolve, creating a loop between past and future. It is a space where memory and movement coexist, rooted in home but not held back by it.
