The event, which takes over Johannesburg and Cape Town, brings together creatives from all fields—fashion, music, art, architecture, graphic design, furniture, and more. Last year saw over 150 designers and brands across two cities, with packed-out exhibitions, panel talks, workshops, and open studios.
Whether you’re launching a product, hosting an experience, or want to start conversations around design, this is your platform. If accepted, you’ll be featured in the official lineup alongside some of the country’s most exciting creatives.
Design Week South Africa’s 2025 theme is shaped by four key ideas: sharing space, working together, archiving for the future, and breaking boundaries. That means it’s not just about showing off work—it’s about exploring new ways to design, create, and connect.
