SA trio win big at 2023 Grammy Awards

Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikode have won a Grammy for their collaboration ”Bayete”.

Zakes Bantwini, Wouter Kellerman, and Nomcebo Zikode have done South Africa proud at the 65th annual Grammy Awards. The trio won the Best Global Music Performance award for their hit Bayethe at music’s most prestigious event in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

On Twitter, the musicians acceptanced their joint award with some heartfelt messages.

Took me 17 years to find my path,

I have no words to express the emotions and grace that have come over me.

This moment is owed to my late Mother & Father.
