We have two double tickets to give away to Decorex, read on to find out how.
There’s a new reason to get to Decorex Cape Town this June and it’s called Ten x Ten.
The installation, making its debut at this year’s show, brings together 100 of the most compelling design objects of 2026 in a single, walkable exhibition. Ten categories, one hundred objects, sourced from studios and makers across South Africa, Morocco, Nigeria, Italy and beyond. The idea is straightforward but ambitious: take a snapshot of where design actually stands right now and what’s being made, how, and by whom.

The selection was put together by Decorex co-creative directors Alan Hayward and Garreth van Niekerk alongside a panel of category experts, including Cape Town gallery Art Formes and Sinegugu Ngxongo, granddaughter of master weaver Beauty Ngxongo and founder of Bambizulu. Contributors include Thabisa Mjo, Willowlamp, Wiid Design, Robin Sprong Wallpapers and Kartell, among others, spanning lighting, ceramics, textiles, basketry, heritage craft, furniture and more.
The exhibition is anchored by large-scale fabric sculptures by Tshwane-based AI artist Imagine_That, this year’s 100% Design featured artist, and is laid out so that the pavilions read as “100%” when viewed from above. A detail that rewards those who take the wider view as much as those who get up close.

If you can’t make Cape Town, Ten x Ten travels to Decorex Joburg at the end of July.
The details: Decorex Cape Town runs 25–28 June at the CTICC, 1 Lower Long Street. Doors open at 10am daily.
Enter to win: We have two double tickets to give away. To enter, head to our Instagram, find the Decorex competition post, comment and tag the person you want to bring along. Two winners will be drawn at random.
Can’t wait? Tickets are available online from R150.
