Cape Town-based brand Artclub and Friends has teamed up with MRP for a limited-edition collection that blends independent design thinking with large-scale production. The collaboration, which has been in development for two years, marks a first for the young brand.

Founded by Robyn Keyser in 2016 and later joined by Tanya Slater, Artclub and Friends has built a reputation for thoughtful, artist-driven fashion. This new collection draws from their signature aesthetic, reworking some of their most popular silhouettes into a 16-piece range. It includes cotton tees, a striped bowler shirt, suit trousers and shorts, a trench coat, everyday bags, and burnout laser-printed denim featuring their well-known “by artists for artists” slogan.

“We wanted to see what happens when an independent brand’s design process is paired with a larger retailer’s resources,” says Keyser. “Every element was considered with both new and existing customers in mind, and we hope these are pieces people hold onto for years.”

For Artclub and Friends, this project is an opportunity to test new ideas and reach a wider audience while staying true to their roots.
The collection will be available from today, 10 March 2025 in select MRP stores, online, and via the MRP app. Check it out and start shopping now.
