Watch the First Trailer for ‘Squid Game’ Season 3 – and Find Out What’s Coming Next

Netflix has just dropped the first teaser for Squid Game Season 3, and it’s everything we hoped for — intense, mysterious, and full of clues for what’s coming in the final chapter of the global hit series.

The teaser opens with a scene fans will recognise: pink guards carrying one of the show’s eerie black coffins. Inside is none other than Gi-hun, aka Player 456, who wakes up to find himself back in the games. Yep, he’s returned — this time not just to survive, but to take the whole system down.

What happens in Season 3

Season 3 picks up right where things left off, after the heartbreaking cliffhanger of Season 2. Gi-hun is still reeling from the loss of his closest ally, Jung-bae, and now faces a darker version of the games, including a shocking twist: the Front Man has infiltrated the rebellion, disguised as Player 001.

We also get a glimpse of what’s coming — a massive gumball machine spitting out red and blue balls (what do they mean?), returning characters like detective Hwang Jun-ho, and a new round of players with everything to lose.

The teaser ends on a chilling note, with the cry of a baby echoing through the arena. As always, the show mixes horror with emotion in a way only Squid Game can.

Season 2 already made history when it dropped late last year, breaking Netflix records in its premiere week and becoming the third most-watched season ever on the platform. Season 3 promises to take it even further, wrapping up the story that’s had everyone hooked since 2021.

Squid Game Season 3 lands on Netflix on June 27.
